HOW DO I ARRANGE AN ASSESSMENT?

IF I TAKE A CARE PACKAGE IS THERE A MINIMUM TERM, AND CAN I MAKE CHANGES?
You can cancel your care package with one weeks notice. And you can make changes at any time, we will be happy to make any adjustments. Our care evolves with your needs.
IS THERE ANYTHING THAT MY CARE WORKER IS NOT ABLE TO DO?
All tasks will be agreed in your Person Centred Care Plan, but we will not be able to administer medication, give injections or anything that may cause harm or injury to either person.
HOW WILL YOU ENSURE THE CARERS COMPLETE THEIR TASKS AND STAY THE AGREED TIME?
Our carers are recruited not only by qualification and experience, but also attitude and dedication to helping people. We conduct regular spot checks to assess their performance and your satisfaction. If you are unhappy with any part of our service you will have the office contact details to voice your concerns. All carers are tracking using GPS, and are required to clock in and out of calls using the latest methods.
ARE ALL CARERS VETTED AND TRAINED?
Yes, all carer are subject to an enhanced DBS check. They then go through an induction and receive a comprehensive programme of training and mentoring to ensure you receive high quality care.
HOW DO I PAY FOR MY CARE?
You will be billed every 2 weeks.
DO YOU HAVE A PRICE LIST?
As care is not a “One size fits all” task, all prices are calculated on an individual basis. Prices can increase if your requirements change. Contact us for a consultation and we can discuss your requirements and provide you with a cost for our service
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE OFFICE IS CLOSED?
All calls after 5pm hours are redirected to our Out of Hours service, we are contactable 24 hours a day.
HOW DO I MAKE A COMPLIMENT OR COMPLAINT?
We have a complaints procedure that will be given to you as part of your introduction to The Cedars Home Care. We take all feedback seriously and will ensure your views are handled in adherence to the Care Quality Commissions Essential Regulations.
